Thousands of young people and adults have benefited from Harlem School of the Arts programs over the past forty-five years, including 2008 Tony Award winner de’Adre Aziza (for Best Performance by Featured Actress in Musical Passing Strange), actor Giancarlo Esposito, composer and arranger Ray Chew, and ten-year-old Shannon Sky Tavarez, who made her Broadway debut playing the role of Young Nala in Disney’s theatrical production of the Lion King.

Register now for the spring semester! Aspiring and seasoned artists of all ages can choose from over 70 courses taught by our more than 50 renowned artists and teachers. The Harlem School of the Arts offers group courses in dance, music, theater and visual arts, private music and theater courses, and our rigorous HSA Prep program.
